One of the best villas we have stayed in whilst visiting Pissouri and we loved it. The modern and spacious accommodation (really liked the photos on the wall throughout the villa), fantastic pool and lovely garden and surroundings created a great environment to relax in and our two weeks went by too quickly.
The villa has everything and more that guests of all ages could possibly need and the guest handbook and other information provided was really helpful. We did manage a few trips out of the villa but didn’t manage to fit in the boat trip to see the turtles and other wildlife near Lara Bay – but there is always next year and we would definitely stay at the villa again.
Locality: Pissouri Bay and Pissouri Village have a charm of their own which make them a perfect place to stay and enjoy a quiet, relaxing holiday. Everything you need is within walking distance of the villa or a short drive away including a clean and safe blue flag beach (tip to other guests – it is worth investing in the inexpensive water shoes/booties sold in the local shops as the beach is pebbly), supermarkets, restaurants and small gift shops, and the local people are friendly and make you welcome wherever you go.
Favs: We enjoyed eating at Perry’s, Kastro’s in Pissouri Bay and the Hideaway in Pissouri Village. We also enjoyed good food served at the Pissouri Bay Cafe Bar (they do set times for breakfast, lunch and dinner so it is worth checking to avoid missing out). We finished our holiday with cocktails in the Columbia Hotel Resort, sitting on the terrace overlooking the sea – planning our next holiday.
We would recommend you to family and friends.
What touching and thoughtful comments, Angela. And thanks for the helpful tips regarding local restaurants and beach footwear! We are thrilled to hear that you all had such a good holiday on your first visit to Ampeli Villa and very much hope we will be able to welcome you back again. You really must try George’s Turtle Cruise – it’s one of our favourites!
